Our Rentals
The proud owners of these vacation homes have graciously furnished their home for your comfort and enjoyment. We ask our guests to respect our house rules (no parties/events, and obeying town quiet hours of 10PM - 8AM) and care for the property as if it were your own. All units on our rental program are individually owned. Our owners have requested that their units be smoke free and pet free (unless otherwise listed).

Town Occupancy Limits
The Town of Mammoth Lakes and Mammoth Lakes Fire Department has set occupancy limits for all units in the town (two people per bedroom, plus two). Those limits cannot be exceeded for any reason. The renters in violation of this town code may be evicted and will forfeit entire rental amount paid. Renters will list all guests in their party as instructed toward the bottom of this contract. 

Self Check-in/Check-out:
All of our rentals are self-check-in, any time after 4PM. Following your booking, you will be sent a rental agreement for completion and signature – your credit card will be charged once the rental agreement has been signed. An email with check-in instructions will be sent 48 hours prior to your arrival, as long as your rental agreement has been signed and there is a zero balance on the account. Check-out is at 10AM – there are check-out instructions located on a laminated sheet inside the property. Late checkouts are not guaranteed and will not be considered until the night before departure – please inquire the night beforehand if interested. **Please note if you choose to check-in prior to 4PM without prior approval, our housekeeping & quality control team may not have the opportunity to clean/walk/stock the property, and some supplies may be missing. 

Rates and Booking Information
A 5% credit card processing fee, $20 damage waiver, and 14% Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) will be applied to all reservations at time of booking. Rates, unit descriptions and TOML transient occupancy tax are subject to change without notice.

Payments and Cancelation Policy
A payment in full for the total amount of the reservation is due at the time of booking via a major credit card, $75.00 of which is non-refundable (service fee, per each booking). The cancellation schedule is as follows: 
- 100% refund (minus the service fee) if you cancel at least 14 days before check-in. 
- 50% refund (minus the service fee) if you cancel at least 7 days before check-in. 
- No refund if you cancel less than 7 days before check-in. 

*You will be responsible for damage, theft, extra cleaning, unapproved late check-outs, lost keys, lost parking passes and/or lost spa towels - extra charges may be applied following departure for these items. THE CREDIT CARD SUPPLIED AT THE TIME OF RESERVATION WILL BE HELD FOR BACKUP SECURITY PURPOSES ONLY. 

Traveler's Insurance
We highly recommend you purchase travel insurance to protect yourself should you become unable to complete your travel for any unforeseen event, such as: injury, illness, death, natural disasters, road closures, weather advisories, early departure, etc. Such insurance is available through travel agents, auto clubs such as AAA, or online at http://www.rentalguardian.com/ or http://www.csatravelprotection.com/

Catastrophic Events & Emergency Evacuations 
If a catastrophe (winter storm warning, earthquake, fire, flood, hurricane, tornado, etc.) or any situation beyond our control impairs the vacation rental, Mammoth Vacation Rentals reserves the right to transfer a reservation to a comparable unit. In the event of an emergency, if no comparable alternative lodging is available, Mammoth Vacation Rentals is not responsible for finding alternate lodging for the renter, or for the renter's financial losses related to transportation or alternate lodging. We are not responsible for any injury to guests. There will be NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS FOR EMERGENCY EVACUATIONS. Therefore, we suggest you consider Travel Protection Insurance to secure your vacation investment and eliminate your financial risk.

Lost and/or Damaged Personal Property
We ask that you please remove your valuables whenever you leave unit. Mammoth Vacation Rentals is not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen personal items or for belongings left in the unit. Items found may be shipped upon request for a shipping and service charge. 
Seasonally, (generally May - November) bears and active! Do not leave any food or scented items in your vehicles. We cannot be responsible for vehicle damage due to bears and other wildlife. Make sure doors and windows to cars and houses are closed and locked. 

Housekeeping Services
We use a professional cleaning service prior to every guest stay. All of our linens and towels are professionally laundered. We do not provide daily maid service. Additional maid service is available for a fee (must request/inquire prior to your stay). Upon departure we ask that you please wash dishes and put away and/or run dishwasher, put all dirty linens on the floor (towels and sheets), lock doors and windows, close drapes and blinds, take trash/recycling to dumpster, turn lights and appliances off, turn down heat in winter to 50 degrees and off in summer, and return keys and parking passes to the exact location that they were found.

Amenities 
The following amenities are provided for your convenience: all linens and towels, 3 in 1 shampoo/body/bath soap, conditioner, hairdryer, hand soap, lotion, toilet paper, paper towels, tissues, dish soap, dishwasher detergent (where applicable), sponges, trash bags, laundry detergent (only for properties with in-unit laundry), propane (only for properties with private BBQs) and either firewood, fire starter and matches or pellets (for properties with wood burning/pellet stoves).
*For properties where the use of HOA amenities, such as: jacuzzi, pool, sauna, gym, etc., are permitted, guests acknowledge that the use of these amenities are voluntary and used at their own risk. Mammoth Vacation Rentals is not responsible for any incident/injury of guests when using these amenities. 
**Disclaimer: Mammoth is known to have extreme weather conditions that can impact companies and complexes as well as their ability to supply these amenities consistently. We experience normal technical issues, as in any home, that may be heightened due to town occupancy and weather - please note Wi-Fi, cable, and HOA amenities, while generally available, are not always guaranteed. Mammoth Vacation Rentals is not responsible for lost amenities.

Emergencies
For 24-hour emergency service, please call 760-914-4252. For any issues that are not an emergency please call during normal business hours 8AM – 5PM.  The on-site management and all local emergency phone numbers are listed on the welcome sheet in the home. Please refer to those numbers for late night problems involving only fire/flood.
